(More customer reviews)This is just the best Telenovela of all time. This DVD, although it is an edited version, shows from beginning to end the whole story. It does leave out alot of details but you still get 4 1/2 hours of footage. I recommend this to anybody who has seen or never seen the novela. I was very happy just to experience the novela again. Thanks

Los hechos suceden a finales del siglo pasado, en la costa del Golfo de México, Mónica está muy enamorada de su prometido, Andrés. Sin embargo, éste rompe el compromiso para iniciar un romance con la hermana de su novia, Aimée. Ella es una mujer frivola y caprichosa, que vive una aventura amorosa con el rebelde Juan del Diablo. Sin embargo, tiene muchos prejuicios sociales, asi que decide unir su vida a la de Andrés, pese a no amarle realmente. Cuando Mónica se entera de que se hermana y su ex novio van a casarse, pone sus ojos en Juan del Diablo.El hombre acaba enamorándose se ella completamente; se siente muy atraído por su desconcertante prosonalidad.Por eso, cuando Aimée trata de recuperarle, no es correspondida.The facts happen to ends of last century, in the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, Mónica is very lover of his promised, Andrés.
