(More customer reviews)The anime series "MegaMan NT Warrior", which is the Japanese series "Rockman.EXE" dubbed into English, is actually very well done, contrary to some unfortunate reviews it gets.
The show features these humanoid artificial intelligence programs named NetNavies (Net Navigators) who live in cyberspace and help out their humans in the real world. Inevitably, there is a sport called "NetBattling" wherein the NetOps have their NetNavies fight each other using computer chips called "BattleChips" that download weapons to the NetNavies.
The two eponymous heroes are a blue-clad NetNavi named MegaMan (almost all of the NetNavies' names end in "Man": GutsMan, ProtoMan, TorchMan, IceMan, etc.), and his operator, an eleven-year-old boy named Lan Hikari. He's a lot like Ash from Pokemon--think rather dense, perpetually hungry, wanting to be the best in his field. He is also always running late, much to the chagrin of his friends.
MegaMan is kind of like Lan's brother in most respects, and he also repeatedly nags at him to get his homework done.
Most of the voice acting is really good (especially for this one character named Chaud, who is unfortunately not featured in the first DVD) and the dialogue is quite clever at times.
I strongly suggest you ignore the anime purists who gripe about the dubbed version of the show, by the way. The show's real audience consists mainly of people who don't even know the show HAD an original version, and probably wouldn't care if they did.
In conclusion, this show is really good, and if you like anime, you'll probably enjoy it quite a lot. I suggest DVD Volume 1 if you don't know anything about the series, and if you do, I suggest DVD Volume 5, because the first episode on there is really, really good.
Also, the DVDs have a Spanish language track. Unfortunately, there aren't any subtitles, but if you watch it in English first, you can probably pick up on what they're saying.
